ZEE5 announces the premiere of Hindi Crime Thriller – Gumnaam
ZEE5, India’s largest native OTT platform and multilingual storyteller, announced the digital world premiere of “Gumnaam,” a psychological thriller that is the Hindi-dubbed version of the blockbuster Telugu thriller Rakshasudu. The film stars Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran and is the official remake of the 2018 Tamil film Ratsasan. The Hindi film Cuttputli starring Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh is also an official adaptation of the original Ratsasan film.
Produced by Pen Studios, directed by Ramesh Varma and edited by Amit Khan, Gumnaam will be released on September 7thth September 2022. The story in Gumnaam revolves around Arun, played by Bellamkonda Sreenivas, who gives up his dream of being a filmmaker and takes a job as a police officer after the death of his father. He then tries to track down a psychotic killer who targets schoolgirls. Tragedy strikes when the predator kidnaps and brutally murders his niece, leading to many plot twists in this stunning film. The film has great music including a song by the late singer KK, making Gumnaam his final film.
