Hokie Nation continues to show incredible excitement and interest ahead of Virginia Tech Football’s return this fall. Tech’s athletics division announced Thursday that the Hokies’ matchup against West Virginia has sold out, along with the sell-out of student season tickets and additional premium seating areas.
Lane Stadium is sure to rock when the Mountaineers visit Blacksburg for the first time since 2004. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday night, September 22, which happens to be 28 years from the day Tech played their first game Thursday night, also against WVU.
Due to the game being sold out in West Virginia, season ticket packages are no longer available. Fans can still order customizable mini-plans in packs of 3 or 4 games starting at just $180.

Student season tickets for Virginia Tech’s upcoming campaign have also sold out. Students without a season ticket are encouraged to do so take part in the lottery for single game tickets two weeks before each home game.
The premium seating areas at Lane Stadium continue to be in high demand. After an initial sell-out of West Side Outdoor Club season tickets in July, the West Side Indoor Club season tickets and South End Zone Club season tickets also sold out. Very limited inventory remains in the Touchdown Terrace Club area.
