Virgin River fans are eagerly awaiting the show’s fourth season, which will finally arrive on Netflix next month, but only seem to have something on their mind
Virgin River first hit our screens in 2019 and proved an instant hit with fans – who are now eagerly awaiting the show’s fourth season to finally unfold Netflix next month.

And to add to the excitement, the show’s official Instagram shared a brand new photo of Tim Matheson’s beloved character Doc, looking in good health and enjoying a spot of fishing this week.

The snap was captioned, “We’re back with Season 4 on July 20th. Be hooked!” and received a huge reaction from fans, who wasted no time in replying to the comments to say how excited they are to meet their favorite Virgin River residents. However, many also all asked themselves the same question – and we can hardly blame them!

“Woohoo!! I’m already addicted!! Can we expect the trailer to be released later this month?!?! @virginriverseries”, asked one. Another thinking along the same lines added: “Oh, we’re already hooked! And are very (im)patiently waiting for the trailer.”
The post drew a huge reaction from fans
Another wrote: “When will the promo release on Netflix?” and a fourth added: “Oh my god, I was done months ago! I can barely wait for it. I can’t wait for the trailer to drop either!”
A trailer is expected to be released any day now, with season four just weeks away. We have our bets on it falling sometime next week, maybe Wednesday 22nd Julywhich would be similar to last year’s release strategy.

As fans may recall, the Season 3 trailer was released 28 days before the episodes were released on Netflix – and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that that happens again this year.

Are you looking forward to the fourth season? The synopsis for the new season reads: “Although Mel doesn’t know if her baby belongs to her late husband Mark or Jack, Mel begins season four with a sense of optimism. For years she longed to be a mother and her dream is one step closer to reality.”
“While Jack is supportive and excited, the paternity question continues to gnaw at him,” it continues. “Things are complicated by the arrival of a handsome new doctor who is in the market to start a family of his own.”
