Presenter Vanessa Feltz experienced every celeb’s worst nightmare on Sunday when she accidentally arrived at work a full 24 hours early.
The veteran presenter was due to appear for a morning program on BBC Radio 2 and arrived at the building promptly at around 3:50am only to find the place completely deserted.
After making an emergency call to find out what was going on, Vanessa only then realized her slip – she had arrived on the wrong day and arrived a full day earlier than she should have.
Vanessa shared the story on Instagram, giving fans a first glimpse of her terrifying mistake, but luckily got to see the funny side of it after the initial shock wore off.

Vanessa began her story by looking at the empty office and saying: “The worst nightmare. I just got to Radio 2 and there is absolutely no one here, it’s completely empty. It is now four minutes to four, my shift starts at four.”
Clearly confused and a little panicked, the star went on to explain how she then called the production company’s emergency number to find out what was going on.
She said, “I called the production company’s 911 number, ‘There’s no one here, there’s no one here, the place is completely empty’ and the gentleman says, ‘What day is it?'”
Vanessa shared the story, then explained that she had responded by saying Monday morning, only to be met with the harrowing words, “No, no, it’s Sunday.”
Then, at the end of her story, Vanessa said, “In other words, I could and should sleep in bed.”
According to the amusing, if unfortunate, anecdote, several stars rushed to sympathize with Vanessa as they confessed they’d done the same themselves in the past while wishing her some much-needed rest.
Anthea Turner wrote: “No, I did a similar thing – went to bed at 9pm because of my 4am GMTV alarm. Got up when I heard it, jumped in the shower, blow dried my hair, got dressed, then looked at the clock, I had dreamed the alarm sound, it was only 11pm. I hope you fell asleep again.”
Lizzie Cundy also weighed in, adding: “Oh my darling!! Go back to bed and have a cup.”
While Sara Cox commented, “No no no no I can’t believe this babe!!!!”
It wasn’t all bad news though, as Kate Bottley even added with a wink: “We would have loved you to represent us!”
