Valkyrae and TimTheTatman join top streamers to celebrate the much-needed YouTube gaming move

The streaming industry has come a long way and has shown exponential growth in recent years. Twitch enjoyed a monopoly and dominated this industry when they had some of the most prominent streaming personalities. From Valkyrae to Dr. Disrespect, all the top streamers started their streaming careers on Twitch until the start of YouTube Gaming. The only platform that offers Twitch cut-throat competition.

After attracting many high-profile streamers to its platform, YouTube Gaming recently added “Memberships Gifting”. A feature that has long been available on Twitch is now available on YouTube. It allows channel members to buy monthly channel memberships for other members. In fact, many popular streamers, from TimTheTatman to Valkyrae, have expressed their delight at YouTube’s recent addition.

On May 11, 2022, TeamYouTube officially introduced this feature. By purchasing Memberships Gifting, members not only give away the channel’s monthly membership to other members, but also provide financial support to the content creators. However, it is still in beta and limited to just a few content creators. And YouTube will continue to expand in the coming days.
