Players criticize Ubisoft for deleting inactive accounts
The situation became known to the players thanks to a tweet It claimed: “Ubisoft will close your account if you haven’t logged in for a long time. You will lose all your purchased games forever.”

The tweet included a screenshot of an auto-generated email from Ubisoft informing a player that their account has been temporarily suspended due to inactivity. Upon receipt of this email, the player would have 30 days to log back into their account before Ubisoft would “permanently close” it.

Until the official Ubisoft support account, many social media users were skeptical whether this email was actually a phishing scam or not answered to the tweet and confirmed ways to reactivate an inactive account.
