With the trend of Twitch streamers moving to YouTube picking up again, fans are expecting the streamers they’ll be seeing soon to announce a switch.

Twitch vs YouTube Streaming: Streamers who could potentially switch platforms

1) Pokemon

Pokiamne is popular as the reigning queen of Twitch. She is one of the most popular streamers on the platform and has seemingly immense success on the same. However, she could be one of the next streamers to make the switch to YouTube. Most fans speculate about this move and have commented on it many times when another creator announces their move.

One of the main reasons for this could be that she already has two very successful channels on YouTube where she posts a variety of different content. So you don’t have to start from scratch. Additionally, as revealed by last year’s infamous Twitch data leak, Twitch subscriptions do not account for a significant portion of the RTS owner’s monthly earnings. Therefore, it is very likely that she could get a better deal on YouTube streaming.

2) xQc

xQc is one of the highest-earning streamers on Twitch, so it’s likely he won’t be leaving the platform anytime soon. However, this would have been true if he was just streaming games himself. Felix Lengyel has recently started collaborating with many other streamers for various projects including Ludwig, Pokimane, Sykkuno and many others.

With many other streamers moving to YouTube, a similar decision could be lucrative for the former Overwatch pro. xQc is also known for its spontaneous decisions, so it wouldn’t be surprising if one day it suddenly announced a platform change.

3) Katamina

Miyoung, also known as Kkatamina, has grown into one of the biggest creators in the streaming community. Her famous subathon last year made her famous and after the subathon ended she started streaming regularly with artists like Valkyrae, Disguised Toast, Sykkuno and more. Now it’s worth noting that most of the streamers she streams with are currently signed to YouTube.

Of course, when Miyoung announces a platform switch, it shouldn’t come as a big surprise to her fans.

Fans have seen similar cases in the past with TimTheTatman changing as well. Tim is famous for his entertaining Call of Duty streams with Dr. Disrespect. However, due to Doc’s infamous Twitch ban, the duo has not been able to stream together in the past. That problem was solved when Tim switched to YouTube, and now the duo stream regularly alongside the likes of DrLupo and NICKMERCS.

While fans assume that the streamers mentioned above could switch from Twitch to YouTube, there hasn’t been an official announcement for any of the streamers so far. Therefore, fans should simply treat the guesses as pure speculation.
