Twitch streamer Mizkaf, real name Matthew Rinaudo, has been accused of covering up an alleged keystroke incident.
In June 2021, streamer AdrianahLee took to TwitLonger to share details of an incident that reportedly took place between her and CrazySlick (according to Kotaku). AdrianahLee wrote that during a 2020 birthday party, CrazySlick “came into the room while I was unconscious” and “touched my neck and chest.” According to AdrianahLee, CrazySlick explained his actions as “just making sure I was alive”.
After the incident, CrazySlick took to Twitter to apologize for making AdrianahLee “uncomfortable.” However, in recent days the incident has resurfaced and AdrianahLee took to Twitch and Twitter to say that her original TwitLonger post was a “watered down version of the story”. She explained that this was “proofread” by fellow streamers Maya and Mizkif, who encouraged her to quickly make a statement since CrazySlick was a roommate of theirs.
Many now say Mizkif and Maya are responsible for downplaying the alleged attack in order to protect their boyfriend’s reputation. When the Twitch community got wind of this update, old videos and screenshots from Mizkifs were uncovered. During a stream, Mizkif called the incident “not really a big deal.” Another set of screenshots Mizkif allegedly displayed a series of racist and homophobic slurs.
More allegations have come to light regarding CrazySlick as many women have shared their stories anonymously with AdrianahLee on Twitter. one screenshot CrazySlick reportedly showed that he sent someone an unsolicited nudity while at the same time calling the recipient a “whore.” Another user too claims that the streamer repeatedly sent them unwanted photos.
Streamer Maya has since answered to the latest developments. She claims she asked AdrianahLee to clarify that she wasn’t raped or sexually assaulted because she “didn’t consider it rape or sexual assault at the time.” Maya said she apologized to AdrianahLee. She added that she doesn’t try to “pressure” her or “force” her to say anything. Maya was under the impression that AdrianahLee also agreed that there was no rape or sexual assault involved.
In a now-deleted tweet (courtesy of Dot Esports), CrazySlick said he “never sexually assaulted anyone and never will.” The streamer has since deactivated his Twitter. For his role in the alleged cover-up, Mizkif was suspended from One True King (his content creation and lifestyle brand), with the brand reporting that it a “Third Legal Organization” to investigate the allegations.
Mizkif also made his own statement. He wrote: “Shortly after Slick’s wrongdoing came to light last year, I made some inexcusable statements on an alternate stream after some chat messages reached me. To Adrianah and everyone who has been affected by sexual harassment, I am sorry for these comments. Sexual harassment, of any degree, can never be considered “minor,” and while my intent was to clarify a misleading chat message, I chose my words poorly and my response came across as would I downplay what should never be downplayed.” In the end, he promised fans he had to “do a better job.”
