Apex Legends has been very popular on Twitch lately. In fact, it was the most streamed game on the platform since Season 13 began. Despite this popularity, it seems that one of the battle royale’s most popular streamers could be moving on soon.
While the list of notable Apex Legends Streamers have been around for a long time, one of the most popular in recent years has been LuluLuvely. One only has to look at her impressive numbers on Twitch to see the presence she has created while streaming the game. Her live streams typically draw several thousand viewers, and she has amassed over 1.3 million followers on Twitch and 802,000 subscribers on YouTube. While her large fan base enjoys tuning in to her on a regular basis Apex Legends Content, it seems that this will not happen for much longer.
During a recent broadcast, LuluLuvely spoke about her future on the platform. In particular, she spoke about how she was feeling Apex Legends. Unfortunately for the streamer’s fans, she revealed that she was considering quitting the game. According to the streamer, she was considering taking her possible trip to the US Apex Legends LAN event their “farewell” to Battle Royale. When asked about the reasons for possibly leaving the game, which helped her become popular, she cited a lack of new content. She noticed that there were no LTMs and custom lobbies Apex Legends still didn’t work.
It’s worth noting that LuluLuvely hasn’t confirmed she’s quitting Apex Legends. For now, it seems likely that fans will still be able to watch her dive into matches on Storm Point and the other maps in the battle royale. Nonetheless, her desire to leave the game is revealing and could prove to be a sign of things to come in terms of other streamers.
This latest news from Twitch streamer LuluLuvely points to a problem Apex Legends has currently. While the default ranked and public games offer a solid gaming experience, there aren’t many other options for players to try. While it’s true that the game features Arenas, a 3v3 elimination mode, it hasn’t garnered the same popularity as Battle Royale. Additionally, LTMs, like the popular 9v9 control mode, are currently unavailable in-game.
However, it should be mentioned that the developers of Respawn Entertainment are planning to add some new content in the coming days as the Awakening Collection Event was recently announced. As part of the event, the Control LTM returns to the World’s Edge map and a LifeLine Town Takeover is coming to Olympus. Time will tell if this kind of content drop can convince LuluLuvely to keep playing the game. If not, she could move on to other games in the coming weeks.
Apex Legends is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
