“Having to postpone our game is a worst-case scenario for us and something we never intend to do,” said Craig Reynolds, Roughriders president and CEO.
“We know that our fans often plan to visit Rider games weeks and months in advance, and that decision can involve a lot of travel and logistics. We’re really sorry about that, but we hope our fans still manage to enjoy Family Day at Mosaic Stadium by rescheduling the game to the same weekend and Sunday.”
Reynolds will hold a media briefing Thursday at 1:15 p.m

The press release states that anyone who has a ticket for Saturday’s game will automatically have their ticket moved to Sunday.
The club is also planning many of the same events on Sundays, such as the Coors Light Party in the park at 2pm and a Roughrider Slime giveaway for children.
Training for the players will continue as planned on Thursday.
