Love Is Blind season 4 has been keeping viewers entertained for the past few weeks, and now the show’s creator has spoken out about a certain pairing that makes a surprise appearance in the finale before the reunion episode airs.
Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen has responded on whether love hopes Bliss Poureetezadi and Zack Goytowski broke the rules of the hit Neflix show.
Zack had the audience on the edge of their seats as he toyed with who he had bigger feelings for, Bliss or Irina Solomonova.

With 30 candidates looking for love, there were sure to be some cross-wires and potential pairings. Despite their rocky start, Zack and Bliss revealed their true feelings even when Zack was honeymooning with Irina, surprising viewers in the final episode.
Chris spoke to Variety about whether or not the couple broke the rules by getting engaged after the pods and Bliss left the show.
“Well we film a lot of people outside of the pod experience that we don’t show with people we met during the pod portion,” Chris said.

“We have to make decisions about which stories we follow. Zack obviously had a real, emotional connection to Bliss. When people run out of options in the pods, we ask them to leave.”
We’re sure all fans remember the pod split between Zack and Bliss, and Chris added, “I always go back and talk to people who are leaving. I could feel the emotions in Bliss’ body as if she were so tangible. It was so real and she genuinely thought this was her person to spend her life with [with]. It was devastating. Zack obviously felt he made the wrong choice very soon after meeting Irina.”
Although they didn’t comment on whether it would be considered an official violation of the rules, Chris and the Love is Blind team helped play Cupid.

He said, “Finally [Zack] said he was keen to get in touch with Bliss. They don’t have each other’s contact details. So he asked the producing team in Mexico if he could get in touch with her.”
After Zack confessed to Chris that he “should have asked her” to marry him, the team couldn’t resist helping, with Chris saying, “So if he says he screwed up and wants to marry her, that’s one thing incredible love story.”
The reunion episode will air live on Netflix on April 16 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and 5 p.m. Pacific Time, meaning UK fans can tune in live on April 17 at 1 a.m. Streamers need to tune in to hear the latest gossip from the show and whether true love will triumph for the contestants, who got married.
