Week 13 of the 2022 fantasy baseball season is upon us! As July begins, both the MLB season and the Fantasy season are heating up. July is the best time for fantasy baseball as all managers can focus primarily on the sport. Basketball is over and football won’t start for a while. This can also make recording streamers difficult. Today we’re reviewing the best week 13 pitcher streamers to grab before it’s too late.
Rules: Each listed pitcher must qualify as a streamer. That means every name on this list is featured in 60 percent or fewer of the leagues, according to Yahoo Fantasy Baseball. Additionally, each named pitcher will be scheduled for a two-start week.
Without further ado, let’s get started right away.

2022 Fantasy Baseball Top Week 13 Two Start Pitcher Streamers
Cal Quantrill, CLE, 50% roster
Encounters: @DET, @KC
Cal Quantrill is a reliable pitcher. He doesn’t rack up many strikeouts or offer flashy peripheral stats. But he’s a quality option that doesn’t allow for a lot of runs and digs deep into games.
Quantrill is fresh off an old-school foray against the twins. He lasted 8 innings while giving up 3 runs and cleaning 3 bats out of the way. But he was efficient throughout his start, leading to the 8-inning performance.
He’s lined up for two tasty matchups this week. On Monday he gets the low Tigers. Then later in the week he gets the royals. Be sure to add Cal Quantrill.
Ranger Suarez, PHI, 51% on roster
Matches: vs. WSH, @STL
Ranger Suarez is in the middle of a mediocre season. He wasn’t terrible, but he was far from spectacular. With that in mind, Suarez has a tempting two-start week ahead of him.
Starting against the Nationals is obviously the better game. Washington have produced bottom offensive numbers and Suarez should be able to hold up well against them. The Cardinals’ matchup is unquestionably less attractive. But Suarez may be able to contain St. Louis.
Recently, he gave up 4 runs over 6.2 innings while hitting 7 against a strong Braves lineup. If he can offer something similar against the Cardinals, Ranger Suarez will have a solid fantasy baseball two-start week.
Hunter Greene, CIN, 42% on the roster
Matches: vs. NYM, vs. TB
Hunter Greene hasn’t been effective lately. He gave up 3 runs in 4 innings against the Cubs in his last start. He previously gave up 6 runs against the Dodgers on an outing.
But Greene will always be a worthy two-start candidate for one reason: strikes.
Greene and his blazing fastball offer elite strikeout potential. With the exception of the Dodgers’ disastrous performance, Green has hit at least 5 batters in his last 10 games. And during that span, Greene has hit 7 or more hitters 5 times.
As long as he can keep the Mets and Rays in check and doesn’t have a bomb start, he’ll add value to your fantasy baseball team as a two-start pitcher streamer in Week 13.
Alex Wood, SF, 48% on the roster
Encounters: @AZ, @SD
LHP Alex Wood is having a pretty friendly two-start week in week 13. He should have minimal trouble with the Diamondbacks on his outing earlier in the week. Meanwhile, the Padres are without superstars Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr., making them a far more enticing matchup than usual.
Wood has had a difficult 2022 campaign. But he hit 6 in 5.2 innings against the Tigers on his last performance. Wood hasn’t shown much consistency and he’s a risky streaming option. But the upside potential is pretty high, so go ahead and roll on Alex Wood in week 13.
Yusei Kikuchi, TOR, 22% in squad
Encounters: @OAK, @SEA
It’s no secret that Yusei Kikuchi was struggling in 2022. The Blue Jays had high hopes for him this season but things didn’t go to plan. Other than that, he’s been in pretty good shape lately. Kikuchi most recently limited the Rays to 1 run over 6 innings while batting a season high with 8.
Kikuchi has now allowed 3 runs or fewer in 4 of his last 5 starts. He begins to calm down and understand things. As such, I like Kikuchi as a two-start option against a couple of lackluster offenses in the A’s and Mariners. I wouldn’t expect the same strikeout numbers from him, but he should be able to keep runs off the scoreboard this week.
Final Thoughts
Cal Quantrill is my favorite dual start pitcher streamer this week. But Hunter Greene’s fantasy baseball head is always fascinating.
Be sure to add these pitchers to your league before the start of week 13. Good luck this week!
