6 Gigantosaurus vs. T-Rex (Dominion Prologue)
The prologue for Jurassic World: Dominion gave us a little taste of what it would be like if actual dinosaurs were unleashed in the real world. Even upon its release, it defiantly increased anticipation for the film. Before we look at today’s dinosaurs, let’s see an animation of dinosaurs 65 million years ago.
We haven’t seen the T-Rex lose too many fights this series, so it was fun to see him fight a creature that’s his equal. The fight between the Gigantosaurus and the T-Rex is fun to watch but very short. With the dinosaurs that lived 65 million years ago having little impact on our world today, it’s hard to feel personally involved in the fight. It was fun to watch in theaters, but it’s not as entertaining or pivotal as the other scenes on this list.
5 Gigantosaurus vs. T-Rex and Therizinosaurus (Dominion)
Jurassic World: Dominion focused much more on the main characters fighting dinosaurs than on dinosaurs fighting each other. Still, we had a few good moments of dino v dino action. At the end of the film, a gigantosaurus is chasing our heroes as they attempt to escape into a helicopter. It doesn’t look like they’ll make it until the T-Rex comes to the rescue. While the apex predators fight to the death, our main characters find themselves in an almost equally dangerous situation as they have to dodge debris and try to escape the dinosaurs’ fighting circle.
4 Indominus Rex vs. Anklyosaurus and Gyosphere (Jurassic World)
This fight is proof that any action sequence can be enhanced with the right use of props. The Indominus Rex hunted many other dinosaurs after escaping its confinement chamber. This scene takes place when the I-Rex finds the Anklosaurus group. The Anklyosaurus’ definitive hard armor and powerful club tail allow it to put up a good fight, but not for long. Soon after, the Indominus Rex turns its attention to the two cubs stuck in the “unbreakable” gyrosphere. The spinning ball poses an interesting puzzle for both the dinosaur and the brothers. Their solutions play an important role in establishing the I-Rex’s creative aggression and the cubs’ survival instincts.
3 Carnotaurus vs Sinoceratops and T-Rex (Fallen Kingdom)
Probably the most exciting scene of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the volcano run. When a volcano erupts on Dinosaur Island, everyone with legs runs for cover. For a moment on screen, all the largest and smallest dinosaurs are made equal by a natural phenomenon none of them can fight. The lush greenery contrasted with the roaring orange fires makes for beautiful (if tragic) cinematography. As Claire, Owen and Franklin run away from the lava, a Carnotaurus appears poised to attack them.
Luckily, the dinosaur is distracted by a Sinoceratops and later a T-Rex. As our heroes desperately seek shelter, we can watch as this brief battle unfolds at their side. The volcano scenery is a powerful reminder that a great natural disaster killed the dinosaurs and that nature is stronger than any single species.
2 Indoraptor vs. Blue (Fallen Kingdom)
Nothing is quite as heartwarming as the relationship between a man and his raptor. Even if the climax of Fallen Kingdom shares many similarities with other dino battles, the underlying emotions make this battle stand out. Blue, Owen’s alpha raptor, arrives to rescue his human friends after the villainous Indoraptor corners them in a bedroom. Blue isn’t quite as big or strong as the Indoraptor, but with the help of the film’s heroes, it turns it into an even fight. It’s cool to see our greatest heroes working so seamlessly together without any verbal communication. This fight is also popular for its unique setting and tracking shots atop Lockwood’s beautiful mansion.
1 T-Rex and Blue Vs. Indominus Rex (Jurassic World)
The scarier the dinosaur, the more intense the fight, at least in this dinosaur fight. The Indominus Rex is not only terrifying because of its massive size and strength, but also because of its keen intellect and speed. through Jurassic world Our main characters find themselves rocked again and again by this best. In the final battle, our heroes fight this creature with very little human power. In an act of desperation, Claire frees the T-Rex in hopes that it will instinctively come to help them fight Indominus. The plan works, and afterwards we can enjoy a full-scale battle between some of the most feared dinosaurs. The epic scale, high emotional stakes, and surprise ending put this epic fight high on our list.
