Eminem has reason to celebrate. His daughter is getting married! Hailie Jade has said yes to Evan McClintock and is now wearing his ring. The couple have been together since 2016.
Is Christine Brown (sister wives) dating? It certainly sounds like it! She took to social media to update fans that she’s in an exclusive relationship with a new flame. While she has confirmed her dating status, she is yet to release details about her new boyfriend.
Gold Star Achievements
Viola Davis became the newest EGOT member this week. She won the final track on Sunday when she received the Grammy for her audio book Finding Me: A Memoir.
Beyoncé also made it big. She became the biggest Grammy winner of all time. Sunday marked her 32nd award. Alongside her is George Solti with 31 victories, Quincy Jones with 28 and Alison Krauss with 27 trophies.
Health
It’s been a scary week for Little People, Big World’s Tori and Zack Roloff. He underwent 72-hour brain surgery for an emergency shunt revision Thursday morning. Luckily he’s recovering well.
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler suffered a massive stroke this week. He is said to be stable in intensive care but his speech is limited. His family is hoping for a full recovery.
Entertainment News: Celebrity Scandals and Hot Topics
RHOBH alum Tom Girardi was back in court on Monday. He was ordered to undergo a mental competency assessment before the court will hear his charges. He was then turned over to his current conservator, his brother Robert Girardi, on bail of $250,000.
Alec Baldwin is facing a civil lawsuit filed by the parents of the late Halyna Hutchins. The new lawsuit, arising from filming on the Rust set, comes three weeks after the revelation that Baldwin also faces criminal charges.
Britney Spears was rumored to almost have another intervention. According to TMZ, her husband and friends came up with a plan to try and help the pop star. Everything fell through when Britney found out what was going on and resisted the idea.
Ron Jeremy was admitted to a psychiatric facility on Thursday. He faces 30-count charges of alleged rape, sexual assault and other heinous crimes. The former adult film star could spend the rest of his days in medical confinement after being found unfit to stand trial.
A body-shaming post prompted former reality star Adrianne Curry to delete her Twitter account on Thursday. She tried to follow up on Melanie Lynskey, saying her body type wasn’t right for her role in Last Of Us. It didn’t go well. Melanie got Curry into overdrive and the backlash drove Curry right off the platform.
This week in music
Whitney Houston fans can look forward to new music. A post-mortem album, I Go to the Rock, will be released on March 24th. This record comes 11 years after the megastar’s untimely death in 2012.
Linkin Park is also offering fans a gift. The first song since Chester Bennington’s death in 2017 was released on Friday. The song “Lost” was a forgotten track that never made it onto their Grammy-winning album Meteora.
Casting & Changes
Jamie Lee Curtis and Nicole Kidman team up on the small screen. You will play sisters in a new Prime Video series. Report is a TV adaptation of Patricia Cornwell’s book series about the heroine Kay Scarpetta.
Damon Wayans and his son Damon Wayans Jr. could get a new series. CBS has ordered the sitcom pilot and hopes to start developing the series in October.
Entertainment News: In Memoriam
Eight-time Grammy winner Burt Bacharach passed away on February 8. He and his composition partner Hal David worked closely with stars such as Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. He was 94 years old.
Veteran Hollywood publicist Jeffrey Ballard lost his 5-year battle with cancer on January 30th. Many of his clients like Charlie Sheen, Paula Abdul and Lori Loughlin spoke out about the loss. He was 64.
Another Hollywood publicist, Doris Bergman, died in a tragic house fire on February 9, along with her husband, attorney Albert Sassone Jr., and their beloved cat in Mar Vista, Los Angeles. She was 68.
Six-time Emmy Award winner Eugene Lee for Saturday Night Live and multiple Tony Award winner for shows including Wicked, Sweeney Todd and Candide passed away on Monday February 6 after a short illness. He was 83.
Actor Cody Longo was found dead at home after a wellness check. The 34-year-old actor is best known for his roles as Eddie Duran on Hollywood Heights and Nicholas Alamain, son of Lawrence Alamain and Carly Manning, on Days of Our Lives. No cause of death released at this time.
