1964 – 2022
Robert Evan Keesler, our loving husband, brother, father, stepfather and grandpa, passed away on June 25th, 2022 after a long battle with a rare dementia called Posterior Cortical Atrophy (PCA). He was born on August 11, 1964 in Ogden Utah, the 7th child and fourth son of Carol Moyes Keesler and William Mack (Bill) Keesler. Evan was the joy of his brother and sister’s life. He was a naturalist. He was the star pitcher in little league baseball, coached by his father. He played midfield in softball and had an arm like no other. He enjoyed fly fishing in Alaska and Flaming Gorge. He loved to hunt deer and birds and was able to hike with his siblings. After graduating from Ben Lomond High School, Evan worked for Cream O’Weber, Autoliv, Trans Fuel-Blu and PCC Structural. He married Brenda Terry, where he had his two loving daughters, Maddison and Sheyenne. On July 2, 2004 he married his soul mate Debbie Parsons and added their adorable children Krista, Tyree, Austen and Sidney Huot to their life. Evan and Debbie loved to play golf together weekly, spending their summers taking the girls to softball tournaments from Utah to Alabama with them. Evan loved teaching his girls how to play and supported them in everything they did. Evan loved his grandchildren so much that he was constantly smuggling them candy or teaching them how to play ball or fish. Evan is survived by his wife, Debbie Keesler, who will miss him dearly. He is loved and survived by his children, Maddison and Sheyenne Keesler. Stepchildren Krista (Jesse) Martin, Tyree Huot, Austen Huot and Sidney (Jessica) Huot. An abundance of gratitude and love to Dr. Mark Firth for treating Evan and to Mandi and Jason Harward for taking such good care of him.
