Team News
Luke Acosta has been sidelined since last February with a serious knee problem and remains out for Sarmiento.
Torres has scored and provided an assist in their first three games and we expect the 25-year-old to lead the attack again.
He should be supported in attack by an experienced striker Javier Toledo and Argentina international Luke Castrowhile Yair Arismendi should start in the middle of the park for the fourth game in a row.
As for Patronato, Sava cannot use the services of Fabio Vazquezwho sustained an ACL injury in the game against Union in April.
He is joined by a 27-year-old on the club’s injury table Matthew Pardowho has been out since December due to a tape problem.
Sarmiento possible starting line-up:
mesa; Bettini, Guanini, Sauro, Rasmussen, Quinteros; Castro, Mancilla, Arismendi; Toledo, Torres
Patronato possible starting line-up:
Altamirano; Lozano, Mosevich, Quintana, Cobos; Garcia, Leis, Castro, Medina; Herrera, Rodriguez
We say: Sarmiento 1-2 Patronato
Both teams haven’t exactly gained momentum in the new campaign, having managed to pick up a win in each of their three games. However, buoyed by Tuesday’s win, Patronato should head into the weekend with renewed confidence and we’re backing them to take all three points against the faltering hosts.
