Is $825 million the biggest Powerball jackpot in US history?
No. While $825 million is big money, it won’t be the biggest Powerball lottery jackpot in US history. This record was reached on January 13, 2016, when three tickets in California, Florida and Tennessee shared the $1.586 billion grand prize.
