Olivia Bowen gives birth – Love Island star welcomes first child and shares cute name

Olivia Bowen has given birth to her first child with husband Alex Bowen and took to Instagram to announce the arrival of her newest son.

Olivia, 28, and Alex, 30, who met on Love Island season two and tied the knot in 2018, announced earlier this year that they are expecting a baby.

The new mom has been documenting her pregnancy journey from the start and has now announced that her tot has arrived.

Sharing a photo on Instagram, Olivia revealed his name is Abel, writing: “Abel Jacob Bowen. You are everything. 10/06/22.”

Before sharing the news of her tot’s arrival online, Olivia admitted she was nervous about sharing snaps of her baby on social media.

she said OK!: “I know that if I have a baby I will be judged for everything I do.

“I’ve seen so many parents being judged for stupid things like whether or not they gave their baby a pacifier. I think I’ll be a little more nervous than usual to post things when the baby is here for that reason.”

Olivia remained positive, adding, “But at the end of the day, we’ll learn as we work, which Alex always reminds me of, and we’ll make mistakes, but we’ll learn as we go.”

The doting mum continued: “I really want to give our baby so much privacy during those first few months, but I know we will be the proudest parents and want to share the next step of parenthood with everyone. It does scares me how many creepy people are out there. We’ll just see how we feel over time.

As to whether more children are on the agenda for the couple, Olivia has previously revealed that she would like to have children of a similar age.

She told us, “I want two [kids] and I want them close by.”

Olivia went on to say that she thinks “two is enough” when it comes to how many babies they want together.

Ahead of the birth of their baby, Alex and Olivia made the most of the time they left as a family of two and went on a luxurious spa vacation.

Olivia shared a few snaps from her glamorous getaway to Grantley Hall in Ripon, North Yorkshire, and she and Alex looked so in love as they posed for a photo together.
