Once the calendar hits July, it’s officially Daylight Saving Time and that usually means so many new Netflix movies and shows are arriving to heat up the summer months.
While kicking off the summer on Netflix unofficially began with the premiere of stranger things Season 4 Vol. 1 on May 27th and then on June 22nd with the drop of The Umbrella Academy Season 3. But there’s so much more coming on our watch lists in July 2022.
As summer heats up on Netflix, fans can look forward to plenty of new movies and shows, including the highly anticipated premieres of The gray man and Conviction, as well as the rest of stranger things Season 4 and the new season of Virgin River.

Release date: July 6th
Based on the book of the same name by Jennifer E. Smith, Hello, goodbye and everything in between comes from Everything sucks! Creator Ben York Jones and stars Talia Ryder and Jordan Fisher as Clare and Aidan. With the couple planning to split up before college, their parting could bode well for lasting love, and it all comes together on July 6th.

If you are in the mood for teen drama and romance, this French movie is for you Dangerous romances is the best title to put on your watch list on July 8th. At a new school, a teen meets a popular and mean influencer and falls in love with a handsome surfer, but she soon learns the dangerous truth of their budding relationship.

Follow in the footsteps of this spring’s big hit the adam project, Netflix seems primed for its next big blockbuster with the summer action film The gray man. Judging by the original film coming to Netflix in July, we won’t be without something to watch this summer. But there’s more where that came from, with the biggest titles worth binge-watching over the coming month, starting with below stranger things Season 4 conclusion.
Stranger Things Season 4 Vol 2
Release date: July 1st
We all ran up that hill with the first volume stranger things Season 4, which contained seven extra-long episodes. The super big season ends on July 1st with the last two episodes, the last of which lasts almost two and a half hours. Watch it all come together and lead into the upcoming fifth and final season.
Whoa, bitch!
Release date: July 8th
To all the boys I’ve loved before Star Lana Conor returns to Netflix in the limited mystery comedy series Whoa, bitch. Condor stars in the eight-episode series as a high school grad who’s always played it safe, but when she decides to live a life on the brink, she soon discovers she’s a ghost. We’ll get some laughs with the limited series on July 8th.
resident Evil
Release date: July 14th
Based on the video game series of the same name which launched a successful film series of the same name, resident Evil is due out this summer as the franchise’s first live-action series. The new Netflix series takes us to New Raccoon City in 2036, where Jade Wesker (Ella Balinska) fights bloodthirsty monsters. The eight-episode first season is one of the best new titles coming out in July!
Virgin river season 4
Release date: July 20th
It’s finally time to return to Virgin River for the fourth season of the romantic drama series of the same name. The new 12-episode season drops us right into the cliffhangers of season 3, which included a paternity bombshell and left some characters’ fates in limbo. Don’t miss a minute Virgin River Season 4 and all its twists and turns on July 20th.
