NBA Twitter explodes after Steph Curry’s legendary 43-point performance in Game 4

Posted on June 12, 2022

Steph Curry has doubters and naysayers in the national media, but among his NBA peers, they know who he is and what he’s capable of.

With the Warriors’ season effectively at stake in Game 4 of the 2022 NBA Finals Friday night at TD Garden, Curry penned one of the most iconic performances of his career, helping the Warriors beat the Boston Celtics 107-97 to close the series send back to Chase Center tied two games apiece.

Curry, who wasn’t at 100 percent with a left foot injury, hit an incredible game-high 43 points on 14 of 26 shots from the field and 7 of 14 from 3-point range.

When the Warriors needed him most, Curry came through at almost every moment, hitting hard 3-pointer after hard 3-pointer to seal victory in enemy territory.

Warriors fans won’t soon forget what No. 30 was able to achieve in a must-win game.

Here’s how NBA Twitter reacted to Curry’s otherworldly performance:

Everyone keeps talking about what Steph isn’t. Let’s talk about what he is. A BAD MFer!

One of the main reasons Steph rides like this is because he’s in the best shape of any NBA player ever, not including a cap

— Louis Riddick (@LRiddickESPN) June 11, 2022

Let’s stop hearing junk about “Steph Curry wasn’t a Finals MVP.” He was by far the best player in that series, win or lose.

— Brad Townsend (@townbrad) June 11, 2022

All-time performance by Steph Curry tonight

— Tony Jones (@Tjonesonthenba) June 11, 2022

Curry and the Warriors took home field advantage from the Celtics and are now heading home for Game 5 on Monday night at the Chase Center.
