South India’s favorite celebrity couple is spending the time of their lives in Barcelona, according to the images shared by filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, the other half of Lady Superstar Nayanthara. The actress and her husband recently flew to Spain to enjoy the holidays. Vignesh even shared some pictures taken on the plane on his Instagram handle. “After an uninterrupted series of work, work, work! Here we take our time! Barcelona here we come!” wrote the filmmaker.
Wikki looks stunning in a casual black shirt, while Nayanthara exudes elegance in a classic navy blue blazer and jeans in the photo. The couple look absolutely in love in the pictures, which have gone viral.
The ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ director also shared a picture of the famous Kiss Wall in Barcelona, with the cute couple posing with kissing faces.
The Kiss of Liberty mural is a photomosaic designed by Joan Fontcuberta and installed in Barcelona’s central Gothic Quarter.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan tied the knot last June. All the big names from Tollywood and Bollywood were in attendance at the most anticipated wedding of the year. Shah Rukh Khan, Rajnikant, Mani Ratnam, Sarathkumar, Vijay Sethupathi, Radhika Sarath, Ajith, Suriya, Vijay, Karthi, Arya, Dileep, Boney Kapoor and Director Atlee were some of the celebrities who attended the wedding ceremony. After the grand wedding celebrations at a private resort in Mahabalipuram, the couple flew to Thailand to enjoy their honeymoon.
Unlike other celebrities who check into luxury resorts costing millions for just one night, Wikki and Nayan stayed at the beautiful Siam Hotel in Thailand. Although the hotel is comparatively cheaper, they offer top quality facilities. The pictures from her trip to Thailand also went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, streaming giant Netflix has announced it will release Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, the documentary about the high-profile wedding.
