Pat McAfee is one of those unique YouTubers out there. His distinctive and enthusiastic style really sets him apart from the rest. His super energetic aura and no-nonsense approach have appealed to fans, shortly after his recent return announcement, the #9 ace Hendrick Motorsports speedster was welcomed to the podcast.
At the beginning of the show, Elliott briefly mentioned the road he took on his way back to the oval, practicing on simulators while also understanding the legendary Martinsville Speedway. After that, the presenter had a quirky question for the driver, citing a documentary starring free soloist Mark LeClaire’s ace, Pat compared the adventure sport to NASCAR’s fast lanes.
“Watching these people at work is like, oh, they’re not scared, do you feel like you’re one of those types of people?” he asks. To which a cool but witty Elliott replied: “No, II think it’s quite different, I don’t think you’ll find me free climbing in an icy canyon any time soon.”
To Elliott, Pat said, “you are soft,” Eliot said “Definitely soft, you have to be a little messed up I guess to find that funny don’t you?”
