Multimillionaire Joey Essex, 32, says he’s wealthy enough to retire thanks to reality TV appearances and lucrative brand deals
Multimillionaire Joey Essex is rich enough to retire at 32 – having amassed enough money to put his feet up.
But despite having millions in the bank, the Essex-born star has stressed he’s not ready to quit work just yet.
Asked if he could retire, he told the Sun: “I think I could, but I think it depends on how much you enjoy your job.

“I really enjoy my job so it’s never really about the money, it’s always about keeping busy and just being happy.
“I’m only 32 – the best is yet to come.”
Joey’s net worth comes after he starred in The Only Way is Essex from 2011 to 2013 and used the fame that came with it to become a fixture on reality TV.

He placed fourth on the series I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here in 2013 and won season two of The Jump a year later.
Joey, who is famous for his occasionally goofy answers, also ran a series called Educating Joey Essex – in which he educated himself on various topics.
After being a regular on Celebs Go Dating in recent years, Joey has also appeared on Celebrity Ex on the Beach, Celebrity MasterChef and the 2022 series of Australian series I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.

Joey’s ventures extend beyond television appearances and invest in multiple products – including his signature Fusey brand of aftershaves and hair care products.
The revelation of his wealth comes despite being robbed of more than £8,000 worth of designer accessories in January.
Joey was “appalled and shaken” after discovering his £3million Essex home had been ransacked by thieves and said he was dying to be reunited with his belongings.
Among other things, thieves stole a black Fendi backpack worth around £4,500 that he was carrying in a snap shared to Instagram.
Joey has also lost a £2,500 mustard-yellow Louis Vuitton weekender bag and a £1,900 gray Maison Goyard shoulder bag.
A source close to Joey in January told MailOnline the star was still looking for other items that were stolen.
They said: “Some of the items are very distinctive and Joey hopes it will help identify those responsible.”
