Twitch streamer Matthew “Mizkif” was responding to xQc’s controversial statements about certain streamers living in Austin, Texas.
At the start of his stream today, Mizkif decided to respond to Felix “xQc” and Macaiyla’s claims, mentioning that he had never heard of streamer drama as serious as they portray.
While addressing the controversy, Matthew also explained that drama is common between groups of friends, saying:
“Every friend group I’ve ever had has had drama.”

The streamer drama and controversy reached a new high a few days ago after Twitch content creator Greekgodx was banned from Twitch for a third time. After its ban, some streamers decided to spill a few beans and delivered hot footage on some topics.
One of the controversies started when xQc reacted to Mizkif’s clip about Greekgodx being banned. On the subject, the former Overwatch pro mentioned that the Austin-based streamer crew is unwelcoming and made up of hostile people with big egos.
A few hours later, the Twitch streamer and Tyler1’s friend Macaiyla reacted to xQc’s clip and wholeheartedly agreed with his views. She also revealed that some unnamed content creators in Texas told her not to interact or hang out with EsfandTV during her 2020 visit.
Speaking about the controversial comments, the One True King (OTK) co-founder began his five-hour broadcast, stating:
“I feel like people label Austin streamers, first of all, people say, ‘Oh, there’s drama, streamers are narcissistic assholes,’ and I’m like, ‘Yeah, streamers are narcissistic assholes,’ but like, doesn’t every friend group ever have drama?”
The 26-year-old streamer continued the speech by claiming he’s never heard of drama of this nature in Austin:
“So either I’ve been streaming my whole life and I’ve been part of narcissistic crews, which I probably have. Every friend group has drama and I’ll chat with you honestly, I never hear about drama Austin, Texas, it’s really that bad.”
He also mentioned that people shouldn’t forget that there are thousands of content creators and streamers living in Austin, Texas:
“Everyone is pretty relaxed with each other and I feel like people forget that there are like 500 to 1000 streamers here. How are you going to label the entire Austin crew one thing Macaiyla said compared to the 500 streamers that are here? It’s like, for real!”
The SMITE player’s response ended by sarcastically saying:
“I’m just surprised people are finally waking up to the Austin crew and how much trash we really are. I think it’s pretty safe to say that we’re all a**holes and that we’ll continue to be a**holes because I just feel like it’s worked out well so far.”
Mizkif continued his broadcast, but little did he know that there was another controversy to address when Pokelawls seemingly leaked that the former had accepted a Saudi Arabian sponsorship and was due to fly to the country with Emiru to attend a Fortnite fundraiser.
Fans react to the streamer’s address
The streamer’s Twitch chat was filled with various fan reactions. While some fans agreed with Matthew’s comments, others wanted to know which Austin content creator was speaking behind EsfandTV’s back.
Mizkif is easily one of the most famous characters to have co-founded One True King a few years ago. In addition to streaming Just Chatting and IRL content, the streamer is an avid gamer having played multiple titles including Super Mario 64, World of Warcraft, Jump King and Minecraft.
