➜ Playing softball at Mahomet-Seymour means so much to me because… I grew up with these girls and have been playing ball with them for 10U. So it’s such a blessing to play my last season with my best friends.

➜ Playing softball at Mahomet-Seymour means so much to me because… I played softball with most of these girls for several years. It’s my last ride with these seniors and I loved every moment.

➜ Playing softball at Mahomet-Seymour means so much to me because…we all grew up playing softball together and I don’t want to play with anyone else. The coaches also believe in us so much and push us to be the best players and teammates.

➜ I would celebrate winning a state title by… spending time with the team.

➜ Playing softball at Mahomet-Seymour means so much to me because… it allows me to work on the basics every day and work on little habits in my skills. Being injured means so much to me because it helped me decide that I want to exercise when I’m older.

➜ Playing softball at Mahomet-Seymour means so much to me because… I’ve been with Mahomet my whole life and about five of us have been playing since we were about 10 years old. So it meant so much growing up with them.

➜ My favorite softball memory is … how I attacked one of our freshmen over her phone during our team bonding lock-in. We were doing a scavenger hunt and needed a phone battery below 20 percent. She was the only one.

➜ I would celebrate winning a state title by…eating a really good dinner.

➜ Playing softball at Mahomet-Seymour means so much to me because… our girls deserve it more than anyone I know and it’s pretty awesome that we’re taking home the first trophy for our school.
