NASCAR race results from Atlanta Motor Speedway

The NASCAR Truck Series drivers have unloaded in Atlanta, Georgia. You will start a busy race weekend at the 1.54 mile oval of Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Stage 1 – Report

Rounds: 30 (1-30 / 135)

Green flag, Christian Eckes pushes Majeski into the lead via the flank. Eckes works on the side while Majeski goes downstairs. Ecks in the lead.

Lap 24, Tanner Gray looks through the tri-oval behind Laine Riggs. Riggs approaches without knowing he’s there. The two drivers find the outer wall, be careful.

Green with 1 to go in the stage, Eckes and Smith run side-by-side into turn one. Hard nudges from behind, they stay side by side in turn three and further tour four.

Stage 2 – Report

Rounds: 30 (31-60 / 135)

Eckes heads for the pit lane. Matt Crafton gets the lead in the race when he and many others pitted towards the end of stage one.

Green flag on leg two, Majeski pushes Crafton to the lead as they form three well behind.

Lap 39, beware of debris. It’s a piece of baggage and that will bring a big penalty for a team next week.

In front, Green, Crafton and Kaden Honeycutt walk side by side. Crafton clears it over the flank.

Lap 47, Honeycutt slowing down, don’t be careful.

1 in the second leg, John Hunter slices Nemechek inside with a jab from Corey Heim. They fight for place before turn four.

Matt Crafton beats him to the finish line and wins stage two at Atlanta Motor Speedway!

Stage 3 – Report

Rounds: 75 (61-135/135)

Crafton leads the field into the pit lane. Nemechek wins the race to the pit exit with a two tire call. Bret Holmes turns as he enters his stable.

Green flag on stage three, Nemechek and Matt DiBendetto run side-by-side for the lead. Nemechek wins the fight via the outside lane.

Lap 78, Jake Garcia strips the apron. He chases it up the embankment and turns towards the inside wall, careful.

Green, Sanchez stalls at the start and Corey Heim hits him hard in the back! Both twirl through the grass, be careful.

Green, Nemechek leads on the outside lane.

Lap 95, Lawless Alan pinches Dean Thompson against the wall. Beware of debris.

Green, Chase Purdy pushes Nemechek back to the lead.

23 to go

23 to go, Jack Wood leads a charge down the inside lane. After several rounds he finally clears Nemechek and takes the lead.

21, Nemechek got stuck under the rear bumper of Turn Two’s Jack Wood. A bump draft gone wrong, Wood is off the race lead! The caution is over.

Green, Nemechek and Sanchez run side by side into turn one. Ben Rhodes puts Sanchez ahead!

15 to go, Eckes pushes Rhodes into the lead. Rhodes moves to the front and is now leading the wing.

14 to go, Sanchez emerges within Rhodes. Side by side at the top, Sanchez ahead.

13 to go, Carson Hocevar is in the wall, beware.

Green, Sanchez and Rhodes are even in turn one. Sanchez sniffs forward with a nudge from Eckes over the flank.

5 to go, be careful, Hocevar is spinning.

Green in NASCAR overtime, Sanchez and Eckes even run into turn one. Rhodes pushes Eckes to the lead in turn three.

1 to go, Sanchez dives into Eckes and he’s clear out of turn two! Rhodes pushes Eckes down the back, Eckes works to the right behind Sanchez.

Several trucks crash behind them!

They come out of turn four side by side. Sanchez loosens up inside.
