YouTube gaming live streamer Ludwig surprised his fans today by announcing that he will not be streaming for a week. The content creator has been producing content on a daily basis since moving from Twitch to YouTube Gaming earlier this year.
According to the streamer, one of the main reasons for the hiatus is that he’s struggling to come up with ideas for new content:
“Honestly, I’m looking forward to it. I feel like I’m completely unsatisfied.”

Ludwig explains why he takes a week off from live streaming
Earlier this week, the former Twitch streamer spoke to One True King co-founder Matthew “Mizkif” on the phone. This was one of the first instances of Ahgren mentioning that he had run out of content ideas and resorted to his kitty to get clicks and views from fans.
A few days later, Ludwig confirmed that he would be taking some time off to collect his thoughts. He hopes to come back with new content ideas:
“So feeling like a week off from streaming, I’ll be able to think of some good stream ideas.”
He also spoke about his usual schedule of browsing old YouTube videos:
“Because I’m waking up, I usually have a few meetings in the morning and after the meetings I just sit like this for two hours. I do this almost every day.”
The former Twitch streamer demonstrated by opening up his YouTube and Twitch feeds:
“I just pull up my YouTube and I’m like, ‘Okay, what did I do a few months ago that really blew up?’ And I scroll through my own YouTube channel and then I go through my Twitch followers.”
Ludwig then spoke about various popular Twitch personalities such as Tyler1, TrainwrecksTV and Tarik and the type of content they have aired on their respective channels:
“And I’m like, okay, what are people doing on Twitch? And the answer is, the same thing they’ve been doing for the past 12 months! Tarik watches people play Valorant instead of playing himself. Hasan watches People make videos instead of making them themselves. Trainwreck is betting on more money than anyone should have in their lifetime. Tyler is playing League of Legends, Shroud is playing a game no one else will play but him.”
