Kim K worked for Paris Hilton
Kim Kardashian worked for Paris Hilton as a closet organizer in the early 2000s. She can be seen in Parisian wardrobes in some clips of the show The simple lifestarring Paris and her best friend Nicole Richie.
In 2017, Kim continued to speak out about her job Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen and said people are “wrong” when they say she used to be Paris’s assistant.
“I would work with Paris and I would love to organize and clean out her closets and get rid of all her stuff and sell them on eBay and then shop for her, shop for her. That was my job. I loved it. But people will say “assistant”. They’re always wrong,” Kim said.

The two became best friends
Kim and Paris took a trip to Ibiza together in 2006 and have shared several pictures from the vacation. Looking back on that era of her life with Paris, Kim recounted Rolling Stone in 2015:
“We went everywhere just to be seen… We knew exactly where we needed to go, where we needed to be seen, how to write about you. All you had to do was go to that restaurant or party, talk about whatever you wanted to talk about, and it would be in the paper the next day.”
The two supported each other’s careers when Kim appeared in the music video for the song Paris Best Friends A**which came out in 2019. A year later, Paris starred in the ad campaign for Kim’s Skims velor tracksuits.
It’s clear they’re still friends as Kim attended the Paris Wedding last year and appeared on her new Netflix show. Cooking with Pariswhich features friends from Paris joining her in the kitchen and sharing memories in each episode.
What did Kim say about her time at Paris?
Kim has always acknowledged the impact Paris has had on her career, and in a 2019 episode Keeping up with the Kardashians She said to her sister Khloe:
“I would really want to do anything for her. She literally gave me a career. And I fully appreciate that.”
Kim also spoke about the influence of Paris on an episode of E! True Hollywood Storywhere she said, “I’m really grateful for my experience with her … She’s a big, big reason for my success.”
