Kaduwa, the upcoming Prithviraj Sukumaran leading man is undeniably one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of Malayalam cinema. Originally scheduled to hit theaters on June 30, 2022, Shaji Kailas’ directorial has been delayed due to censorship issues. But now,


has completed the censorship formalities and is preparing for release on July 7th, Thursday.

The exciting update was shared by leading man Prithviraj Sukumaran himself with a social media post on July 5, Tuesday. The actor-producer confirmed this in his post

Kaduwa, which is written by screenwriter-director Jinu Abraham, will star Prithviraj Sukumaran as the main character Kadukukunnel Kuruvachan, a young planter from Kottayam district. Vivek Oberoi, the renowned Bollywood actor, plays the main antagonist in Shaji Kailas’ direction. According to the latest updates, Vivek plays the role of Joseph Chandy IPS, a senior police officer.


tells the story of the rivalry between Kuruvachan and Joseph against the backdrop of the 1990s.

The film stars Saikumar, Siddique, Janardhanan, Vijayaraghavan, Aju Varghese, Harisree Ashokan, Kochu Preman, Rahul Madhav, Samyuktha Menon, Seema, Priyanka and so on in supporting roles. Abhinandan Ramanujam is the cameraman. Jakes Bejoy composed the songs and the original score.
