Junior Andre’s debut single has topped the charts just hours after it was released.
The 17-year-old son of Peter Andre and Katie Price has just released his debut song Slide, which topped the UK iTunes pop chart at midnight hours after its release on Thursday, beating out cult artists Lady Gaga and Harry Styles.
The star excitedly shared screenshots on Instagram as his new track climbed the charts, eventually cementing himself at number four on the national all-genre chart.
“Thanks to everyone who has supported us,” Junior wrote, adding, “You guys pissed can we take this to the top?”

Proud dad Peter – who rose to fame with his own single ‘Mysterious Girl’ in 1995 – also posted a message for his son, writing: “What a start. Wow son,” and mum Katie wrote that she was “so proud” of her boy.
The teenage star has been teasing fans about the music on TikTok for weeks, and performed the song live to fans for the first time on Thursday night.
junior’s sister, princessThe 14-year-old posted a video on her Instagram account of her brother taking the stage to introduce his new song.
Princess then gushed that she was “so proud” of her brother, and Pete also shared a clip of himself hugging his son at the party.

In the clip, the newest member of the Andre family was seen in a red tracksuit, while the teenager was surrounded by excited fans as he performed.
Pete captioned his post: “You have no idea how proud I am of you tonight son.”
Junior later added the post to his own Instagram Story and replied, “Love you dad.”
Pete also shared a video of Junior signing posters for his new single, with the proud dad writing, “I signed my first posters 30 years ago. And now my son is hard at work. As for the girls……”
He then released a series of videos from the launch party, as well as a clip showing him posing for selfies with fans.
Alongside his burgeoning music career, Junior is already following in his father’s famous footsteps in other ways, becoming the star of TikTok.

The teenager has already amassed an impressive 335,000 followers on the video app and has garnered 1.8 million likes for his videos.
To celebrate the release of the new single, Junior posted a clip on his TikTok of him performing the song on stage, which has already been liked 28,000 times and viewed more than 360,000 times.
Captioning the post, he said: “I can’t describe what last night meant to me. Thank you everyone for your support. I can’t wait to sing the whole song with you all when it falls at midnight.”
