Johnny Depp’s kids Lily-Rose Depp and Jack Depp have stayed out of the spotlight, but they’ve commented on their relationship

And although he emerged victorious and received a lucrative payout, he has revealed that the main motive behind the lawsuit was the welfare of his two children.

The actor shares his two children, Lily Rose-Depp23 and Jack Depp20, with ex-wife Vanessa paradiseand both choose to keep to themselves on the issue.
However, Lily has spoken out for her father in the past, sharing a since-deleted Instagram post in 2016 when news of abuse allegations first broke.

“My dad is the sweetest loving person I know, he was nothing but a wonderful dad to my little brother and me and anyone who knows him would say the same,” she wrote alongside a souvenir photo of herself and her dad .
Johnny has maintained a strong relationship with his two children
While Jack has remained silent on the subject, since he was also quite young when the case first arose, Johnny has often gushed about his son’s talents and how much he loves being his father.
“My boy Jack has always been a very talented draftsman,” he told the Inquirer in 2014. “He draws really really well. He also plays music very well. He has a good feeling about it. Aside from school plays and such, he has not shown any desire whatsoever to be an actor. Phew.”

In 2018, Johnny spoke about his son: “I’m sure it wasn’t easy for my 14-year-old boy to go to school, you know what I mean?”
Lily-Rose defended her father when abuse allegations were first made
“When people say, ‘Hey, look at this magazine, man. What, your dad beats up chicks or something?’ Why did he have to go through that? Why did my daughter have to go through that?”
The Hollywood star explained early in the trial that his express purpose of the trial was to clean the air for the benefit of his children.

He explained: “News of her allegations had kind of permeated the industry and then made its way through the media, and social media became a pretty global, shall we say, ‘fact’ if you will.
“Knowing that there was nothing wrong with it, I felt it my responsibility to stand up not only for myself but also for my children in this case. I wanted to rid my kids of this horrible thing they had read about their father, which wasn’t true.”
The two siblings have a close bond
Lily-Rose and Jack have maintained a close bond as siblings, with the former even paying tribute to her brother on his birthday.
