The Good Luck Jerry release date is finally announced with the news that this upcoming movie is going straight to OTT. Theatrical release will be skipped, Janhvi Kapoor Starter will be released directly on Disney+Hotstar.
Good luck Jerry is an upcoming 2022 movie set to be released direct to Disney+ Hotstar. With Janhvi Kapoor starring in this film, Deepak Dobriyal, Meeta Vashishth, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh will also star. Written by Pankaj Matta, Good luck Jerry is headed by Siddharth Sengupta.
The film completed filming in March 2021. Janhvi Kapoor had taken to Instagram to share the news of the film’s conclusion. The post read: “Can’t believe it’s film packaging. So much has happened, changed, grown, learned and forgotten in the course of and because of this shoot. But through it all, I was so excited to get on set and see all these faces and trouble them and laugh with them and work tirelessly and united to create something that was exciting for all of us. I will miss you all – is a massive understatement. And thanks for everything.”
Good Luck Jerry release date: when and where to watch
Good Luck Jerry is said to be the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila which was released in 2018 starring Nayanthara. Starring Janhvi Kapoor, similar to the Tamil version of this film, It’s the story of a young woman who becomes a drug dealer in order to support her family while tricking the police.
Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram today to share the details of the release schedule of her upcoming film, Good Luck Jerry. The post was captioned: “Nikal Padi hu main ek naye adventure par, GoodLuck nahi bolenge?#GoodLuckJerry streaming on @disneyplushotstar from July 29th”. This is confirmation that the creators are indeed skipping a theatrical release and going straight to an OTT release for the same. Disney+Hotstar has earned the streaming rights to this upcoming film and the film will be released on July 29th, 2022.
