ITVBe announces Celebrity Health Stories starring Jacqueline Jossa, Nicola Adams, Hannah Spearritt and Tanya Bardsley
ITV today announced a brand new series of women-focused non-fiction documentaries to be aired on ITVBe later this year.
The four factual specials will uncover issues dear to ITV’s most beloved female personalities, including actors Jacqueline JossaBritish Olympic boxer Nicholas Adamssinger and actress Hannah Spearritt and original The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley.
Alternately emotional, poignant and personal, the documentaries aim to shed light on serious issues facing women in today’s society in the hope of finding answers and raising awareness in the process. Each hour-long episode focuses on a different topic, from fertility issues like IVF to devastating symptoms after cosmetic surgery to the everyday reality of living with an ADHD diagnosis.

After sharing her excruciating painful period experience with her 3.2 million Instagram followers, actress Jacqueline Jossa is on a personal journey to explore the condition of painful periods with medical experts and start a new conversation about periods
Alongside her own personal medical journey, we’ll see how her period impacts Jacqueline’s family, work life, and overall well-being. We’ll follow Jacqueline as she meets influencers who are on a mission to educate people about periods in new ways, and discover how the stigma of periods impacts us all.
In a candid but upbeat, personally penned article for ITV Studios Daytime, Jacqueline is determined to play a role in ending the period taboo, breaking down the “shhhh” attitude to being “on” and getting people talking about periods.
Nicola Adams: Me & IVF (1 x 60)
This emotional, deeply personal film from Rare TV and The Gold Studios follows British Olympic boxer Nicola Adams and her partner, model Ella Baig, through their IVF treatment and pregnancy.
The program’s narrative backbone focuses on her journey from IVF to motherhood, capturing important personal moments along the way. The film accompanies them from the first scans to the birth of their child and captures the most intimate moments of the couple’s journey.
As they go through the emotional process, they meet other people in similar circumstances and explore the hidden difficulties of IVF treatment, including their own harrowing past experiences, the prejudices and difficulties faced by same-sex couples wishing to conceive through IVF, and the problems associated with being an interracial couple undergoing treatment.
Refreshingly honest and forthright, Nicolas and Ella’s journey to understanding their experience
will help demystify this complicated process and provide insight into the
glamorous life of this hard working celebrity couple.
Hannah Spearritt: Me & Breast Implants (1 x 60)
Hannah Spearritt explores breast implant disorders and asks important questions about breast augmentation surgery following her own breast augmentation surgery, which she had in 2013.
Hannah, along with her partner Adam, searches for answers on a controversial subject that is still debated among medical professionals and not officially recognized by the NHS in this revealing documentary from Twenty Six 03.
They want to meet women who share Hannah’s experience and make a difference in how breast implant disease is treated in the UK.
By sharing her own story and raising awareness, can she find out if women are aware of the research on breast implant disease before making the decision to have implants?
Tanya Bardsley: Me & ADHD (1 x 60)
As fans of The Real Housewives of Cheshire know, Tanya Bardsley was diagnosed with ADHD 6 weeks before her 40th birthday.
Tanya suffered from feeling different from everyone else, but she was always told that it was due to anxiety and depression. She was so bad that she even considered taking her own life.
In this insightful and personal documentary from Monkey, part of Universal International Studios, Tanya will speak candidly about these issues and how her life has changed after being diagnosed with ADHD. Tanya’s son was also recently diagnosed with ADHD, so not only does she have to deal with her own diagnosis, but she’s also learning to be a mother to a child with the condition.
