There’s an exciting new update for I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! Fans: The show officially returns to the Australian jungle for the upcoming season.
ITV has confirmed the reality show will be filming Down Under this year after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, during which they were filmed at Gwrych Castle in Wales.
The channel said: “After a two-year hiatus, our celebrities are returning to their native Australia and will leave their plush upholstery and luxury far behind as they spend up to three weeks exploring the Australian jungle with a whole host of surprises for them conquer .”

Ant and Dec will return to host the show. The cast is yet to be announced.
The hosting duo recently confirmed this heart breakfast that ITV had planned to bring the series back to Australia, although nothing was certain at the time.
“The plan is we’re going back to Australia, we don’t want to go anywhere else. It must return there. Back to his spiritual home, back to the place where it all began.
“Everyone wants to see some sunshine on TV this time of year,” Ant said.

Dec spoke too This morningand said, “As long as they let us in, we’re back in.”
He continued: “We had a lovely two years in Wales, we really enjoyed our time in Wales, but this show has to be in Australia. We have to go back.”
The show is also getting an all-star spin-off that will see previous roommates return. Ant revealed a bit about it This morning back in May and said, “I don’t know why it’s never been done before. It’s a spin-off of the main show where we have ex-campmates who all get together in South Africa to take part in challenges and trials.”
