“I wasn’t impressed” – Dr. Disrespect claims its own game project is better than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare I

Activision unveiled the gameplay of its most anticipated sequel, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, at Summer Game Fest II. Fans were finally happy to see the new Call of Duty game, but Dr. DisRespect not impress.

Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV is an American video game streamer best known as Dr Disrespect for live streaming on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. Beahm is known for mostly streaming battle royale multiplayer games like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Warzone, Apex Legends and Fortnite.

dr Disrespect recently had a live stream where he talked about the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. The American live streamer wasn’t happy with the upcoming FPS game. He was particularly against the single player campaign. Instead, he wants Activision to develop excellent multiplayer.

The 40-year-old streamer believes the developers used an outdated engine to create the action FPS game. Dr Disrespect even claimed “That’s what I’m looking for, but when I look at a trailer like this. In the single player campaign trailer, you could just tell that the engines are outdated, man. I wasn’t impressed.”

Dr DisRespect believes his own game is better

The American streamer started streaming back in 2010 but stopped streaming in 2011 and became a community manager at Sledgehammer Games. He later became a level designer and developed maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. But he quit the job to become a full-time streamer in 2015.

After the role as a level designer at Sledgehammer Games, Dr DisRespect is working on a game again. In 2021, he co-founded a video game company with veterans like Robert Bowling and Quinn DelHoyo. Also, they are all working on a battle royale multiplayer game.

The American streamer thinks its upcoming video game is better than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Dr Disrespect said: “I think I mean I’ll be honest, I’ll just be honest with you since we’re talking and I do. I could take an in-game screenshot of our game in the engine right now, a screenshot of that, and I don’t think anything I saw there could match the screenshot.”
