The latest news on the Genshin Impact official channels is talking about a new event built for aspiring streamers around the world. The new version 2.7 Twitch Stream Recruitment Event will be available again on the purple platform. As usual, players will need to stream their content while completing events and additional challenges to earn free Primogems.
The previous Twitch stream event in patch 2.5 witnessed a lot of community backlash regarding the compensation. The developers took the feedback into account, and the new 2.7 Twitch Steamer event allows players to earn between 730 and 1490 Primogems depending on the player’s contribution.
The article below covers everything players need to know about the latest twitch streaming event in Genshin Impact.

Players who have successfully registered for the event will be notified on May 30th, 2022 via their provided email id.
The event duration is planned for 22 days from May 31st to June 21st, 2022. The Twitch Stream event will cover the content listed below.
main missions
Main missions include the Primary Streamer Challenge. Here, players must stream their content for certain hours in the Genshin Impact category to get Primogems.
Here is a list of the rewards players can earn by streaming the game for the following durations:
- 160 Primogems – Stream for 8-16 hours
- 320 Primogems – Stream for 16-24 hours
- 640 Primogems – Stream more than 24 hours
Additional Challenges
Players can also complete additional in-game challenges to obtain Primogems. The additional challenge for streamers is to conquer the Spiral Abyss from floors 10 to 12 with 9 stars. Clearing every 9-star floor rewards players with 10 Primogems.
Daily signups and commissions
Players are also rewarded with additional Primogems for logging in for a period of time and completing daily commissions.
While many have expressed concern that the compensation is too low to meet all the challenges, many have done the math to try to justify the compensation provided.
