A group of fans have started working on developing a dating simulator like game centered around the hugely popular streamer and creator HasanAbi.
The game’s initial reveal came from one of the fans, who teased the simulator through a tweet and shared a short video showing what the fans behind the game have been developing for it so far.
The fan went on to list credits for the development of the game, which includes himself as an artist and three other Hasan fans as animators, story developers and music creators.
The same fan responsible for the game’s artwork also showed off some of their streamer illustrations that they created for the game.
While streaming on May 26, Hasan discovered that the dating simulator-like game centered around him was being developed.
“Wait, no way,” the streamer said after spotting the game. “My manager literally texted me yesterday and said, ‘Dude, we need to make a dating simulator out of you.'”
Hasan then proceeded to watch the short teaser clip of the game before continuing to discuss other topics.
“We can split the pie evenly, but you have me all to yourself,” the streamer said as he read his character’s dialogue. “What the hell?”
The streaming star later quoted the fan’s artwork on his alternative Twitter account and proclaimed “this is fire.”
Following Hasan’s encouraging response and other positive feedback from the rest of the community, the fans behind the game quickly worked to bring the game to life. One of the fans is working on developing the music that will be played during the game.
Some of the other fans come up with an official name for the game and start writing dialogue that stays true to what the streamer would actually say. The fans behind the game are asking other Hasan fans and the general community for help in developing these aspects of the game.
The fan who created the artwork for the game confirmed in a tweet that the project is in a very early stage of development and the team has only just begun to flesh out their plans for it.
Though no release date is set, the team is moving fast, so Hasan fans can likely expect this dating simulator-esque fan project to come fully to life at some point in the future.
