As has been the tradition since 1992, Grandview Speedway will once again be part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series for the upcoming 2023 racing season.
Grandview Speedway competitors have been sanctioned under the NASCAR umbrella for over three decades and enjoy the benefits of membership. Benefits include racing for NASCAR points fund money, available for national, regional, state and track championships, and NASCAR’s great insurance coverage.
Just last season, Grandview Modified Track Champion Craig Von Dohren not only collected the track’s points monies, but also received $3,500 from NASCAR for winning the track championship and an additional $15,000 for his NASCAR Northeast Region Champion title.
As always, all participating drivers must be NASCAR licensed to race and earn points, with modified drivers listed as Division I and Sportsman drivers competing under Division II.
Grandview Speedway management encourages anyone to obtain a NASCAR license to enter the pit area for pending additional insurance coverage. However, you may enter the pit area as a non-member for an increased fee. Those who are NASCAR licensed receive the additional coverage and pit at all sanctioned events at a discount. Car owners and crew members can purchase their memberships as in the past if they want the same coverage.
Grandview Speedway track officials are also reminded that, as in previous seasons, they must continue to earn their NASCAR memberships.
Anyone can begin applying for their NASCAR membership license at this time at the discounted rate and avoid the opening-day lines by applying online at https://license.nascar.com. If anyone is having trouble purchasing their license, please email: This email address is being protected from spam bots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
