Good Morning Brit Richard Madeley has announced his daughter Chloe’s due date.
Speaking on Loose Women, he said, “She was due on August 5th and they brought it up to August 7th.”
The 66-year-old presenter shared the news on the ITV show, telling panellists: “She’s in France at the moment, she’ll be 34 weeks.”
Chloe, 34, announced in March that she is having a baby girl with husband James Haskell.
Richard told Loose Women how excited he is for his daughter to welcome a baby girl into the world: “Obviously I’m excited because she’s having a baby girl.

“It has something to do with your daughter having a little girl, it shouldn’t make a difference, but it kind of does.”
The doting grandfather went on to say he loves being a grandparent and that having kids is “like a home” and having grandkids is “like an extension”.
He added, “It’s a new place to go and you can always give them back.”

Chloe said so before OK! about the news that she’s having a girl with her husband and parents, and the “movie moment” that came with it.
She received the news while having dinner with her parents, legendary presenting couple Richard and Judy Finnigan, when she received the email confirming the baby’s gender.
“I scrolled down and it said ‘Female,'” she said.
“I jumped up and my mother dropped her fork onto the plate. I said, ‘I’m having a girl!’ It was very emotional and I know my parents secretly wanted me to have a girl and they see it as their second experience raising me.”

It then came to telling her husband James Haskell, who was keen to be surprised by the happy news, and Chloe didn’t disappoint.
She had a box delivered to their home – with a pink baby bear outfit inside.
“I got up and almost cried,” said the former rugby star, 36.
“It was pretty exciting. I really wanted a little girl — I’ve been with enough men in my life.”

Regarding the birth, Chloe says she has no “plan” as such, but confirmed she will not have a voluntary caesarean.
“My mom said, ‘It’s really big surgery and some women are okay with it and they’re recovering well, but most women really need to go through a period of recovery’ — they cut you open!” explained the fitness fanatic.
“I was relieved that she repeated my thoughts, which were, ‘You have it if you must have it.'”
