Xbox and PC Game Pass are often seen as the gift that keeps on giving, and today they added two new titles to the service offering.
Xbox Game Pass has often been touted as having the best gaming offerings, even during its dry spells. With the delay of starfield, many may not be as confident about the games they will get later this year as they were before. That could change with the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on June 12, but it’s uncertain whether either company has anything in store for the fall season.
Still, new Xbox Game Pass reveals are set to take place in the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, and fans will just have to wait and see what they are. In the meantime, they have plenty of games to try today, with more coming later this month.
Today, May 24th, Game Pass is adding two new titles. Cloud, Console, and PC Game Pass users have access to Floppy Knightswhile Hardspace: Shipbreaker will be available to PC users. The former is a cross-genre tactical turn-based card mechanic where different decks can be assembled to perfect a player’s strategy. hard spacemeanwhile, is a physics simulation set in space where players must disassemble spaceships to pay off a huge debt.
There aren’t enough reviews on either game to warrant a Metacritic rating—at least not yet—but the ones that have come in are incredibly promising for both. At the very least, Game Pass users can try both games at their leisure, and that’s the beauty of Game Pass – trying out games that someone wouldn’t normally try. Because if someone likes them, then it’s done its job. If one does not do this, he knows that more are coming.
Sniper Elite 5 Game Pass will be released on consoles and PC on May 26th, during cricket 22 (for PC) and Pac-Man Museum+ (all platforms) will be released on May 27th. It wouldn’t be surprising if another game or two were added at the last second, especially since more announcements for June 2022 are expected to come around May 30th or 31st.
After all, new Game Pass titles are being added ahead of the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, and Xbox Game Pass has confirmed a few games for June 2022. These include For Honor: Marching Fire Edition, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Shadowrun Trilogyand Escape Academy. It seems June has got off to a good start and more will be revealed in the coming week or so.
