2006 FromSoftware game Enchanted Weapons was suddenly removed from the Xbox Store with no explanation given and no possible return date announced. While FromSoftware is best known for Dark Souls Despite being a franchise that started in 2011, the studio has been developing games since 1994 Koenigsfeld on the original PlayStation.
FromSoftware followed Koenigsfeld with some sequels, mech fighting game franchise Armored Coreand a host of other original IPs created in collaboration with various publishing partners. In 2006, FromSoftware and Ubisoft co-released a turn-based role-playing game for the Xbox 360 Enchanted Weapons. Those interested in trying out this pre-Soulslike game from FromSoftware could do so fairly easily thanks to its availability on the Xbox Store and the fact that it was backwards compatible, but it’s now been taken off the list.

While some releases gave it high marks, many others gave it mediocre reviews and found it to be nothing special.
Still, it’s disappointing when a game is delisted, especially when it’s a game from such a reputable developer as FromSoftware. The vast majority of classic games aren’t readily available on modern hardware, and removing games from the list will only add to this problem.
Possibly Enchanted Weapons will get a remaster that day and bring it back to modern gaming consoles, but fans shouldn’t hold their breath. FromSoftware is busy with this at the moment Elden Ring: Shadow of the Earth Tree DLC and what is to come Armored Core 6: Fire of the Rubicon, coming out in just a month. It is highly unlikely that this will happen again Enchanted Weapons soon if ever.
