“We begin today’s Bulletin with news about writer Varun Grover, who has requested experts to monitor the violent sequences in films, particularly those involving women. Grover, known for writing the Neeraj Ghaywan-directed Masaan and Netflix series Sacred Games, said filmmakers and content creators need to take proactive steps to educate actors about scenes of violence against women.
Grover said, “There are intimacy coordinators today who choreograph intimate scenes in films and shows, telling the actors what they’re going to do and how it’s going to be done. Likewise, we need experts to choreograph and coordinate scenes of violence and their impact on the audience, so that violence in our cinema does not become a medium to normalize it.”
“Meanwhile, veteran actor Neetu Kapoor will grace dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 this weekend, joining judges Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi. A video shared by Colors shows Neetu getting nostalgic after Niti Taylor’s dance performance depicting the love story by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The weekend is entitled “Kapoor special”.
Ranbir-Alia’s journey is portrayed in a breathtaking performance by Niti Taylor and choreographer Akash Thapa. Niti also resembled Alia in terms of clothing as she wore a white and gold lehenga and an identical hairstyle. The duo performed on Ranbir’s song “Khuda Jaane” from the film Bachna Ae Haseeno.

“Other News: The 1.46 minute teaser of Om Raut’s upcoming film Adipurush has been widely criticized for misrepresenting Lord Ram, Sita, Ravana and Hanuman. People are calling for a ban on films starring Prabhas Raghav, Kriti plays Sanon as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, but Raut has assured audiences that he and his team “didn’t do anything wrong in this film”.
Raut tried to defend the depiction of Ravana in Adipurush. Many people have compared Saif’s appearance in Adipurush to Ranveer Singh’s Khilji in Padmaavat.
Speaking to India Today, Raut assured: “We want to bring the story of Lord Ram to the world. We want to spread his teachings among the youth.”

Speaking of Navya Naveli, Bollywood actress Jaya Bachchan appeared on granddaughter Navya’s podcast ‘What the Hell Navya’ and spoke about how two years of the pandemic has given her two new best friends. Speaking to Navya and Shweta Bachchan, the veteran star said she had “lost nothing in the last two years”.
She began by saying, “For the past two years, Navya and Shweta have been my best friends. I can tell them anything I want and they will reprimand me, especially Shweta. Someone who tells you, “I don’t agree with you,” is important. I would also want to grow at that age.”
