The OP Games, longtime publisher of tabletop adventures, announced a new dice game set in the Harry Potter world’s beloved Diagon Alley.
The wizarding world takes on a new form as Harry Potter: Mischief in Diagon Alley, a new tabletop adventure published by The OP Games has been announced. 2022 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for fans of the franchise, with more to come Harry Potter games incl Hogwarts legacydue out later this year for PC and consoles.
The OP Games is known for releasing board games for a number of well-known brands such as Marvel, Disney and above all Harry Potter. In addition to releasing various versions of well-known tabletop games, including Harry Potter versions of Trivial Pursuit and scrabblefor which the publisher is also responsible Hogwarts battle. In this cooperative deck building game, players are tasked with defending the notorious wizarding school from evil forces while using popular characters, locations, and spells to build and strengthen their decks.
Now The OP Games is releasing a new one Harry Potter Tabletop game that explores a recognizable location in the wizarding world: Diagon Alley (via comic book). in the Harry Potter: Mischief in Diagon Alley3-5 players must roll dice to repair the many shops in Diagon Alley that have been afflicted by a mysterious curse. not how Hogwarts battle However, players compete against each other, and whoever can fix the stores first is the winner. Harry Potter: Mischief in Diagon Alley Slated for release in September for $24.99, it will feature different game boards, 15 dice and over 100 different tokens.
The forthcoming Harry Potter: Mischief in Diagon Alley is one of several other dice games published by The OP Games. Marvel also joins another well-known dice- and card-based series with the crowdfunding Marvel: Cube Throne. The completed Kickstarter campaign for this project has garnered over 20,000 backers who have pledged over $2 million, well above the $100,000 goal. Players can choose from a variety of Marvel heroes, including Spider-Man from Thor and Miles Morales, and compete using each hero’s individual dice and cards. A recent update claims that the retail version is nearing completion, although no official release date has been set.
That Harry Potter The universe has always been a prime backdrop for many different media, receiving a variety of tabletop and video game iterations. But since the original eight films have been hitting theaters for over a decade, they’ve been building on Harry Potter Game releases slowed down drastically. Now with the upcoming release of both Hogwarts legacy and Harry Potter: Mischief in Diagon Alleyand in light of the recent cancellation of the Fantastic Beasts series of films, it could be time for a new era of Harry Potter gaming.
