The 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series Call811.Com before you dig. 250 is finally done and dusted off. The eighth race of the season, with a total of 38 entries, started on Saturday (April 15) at 7:30 p.m. ET. It took place at Martinsville Speedway and lasted two hours, 12 minutes and 50 seconds.

John Hunter Nemechek drove the #20 Toyota Supra for Joe Gibbs Racing and clinched his second NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the 2022 season after beating teammate Sammy Smith on the final lap of the race.

Nemechek wins the Xfinity race in Martinsville.

Nemechek took the lead at the restart with 32 laps to go after winning the first two stages of the race. He secured a dominant win, leading by 198 laps of 250 and beating Smith by 1.518s to reach the checkered flag. The win was his fourth career Xfinity win and his first consecutive win at the venue.

Meanwhile, Sammy Smith finished second to give Joe Gibbs Racing their second one-two of the season. Cole Custer, the pole winner, was third followed by Josh Berry and Brandon Jones in the top five.

Justin Allgaier, Daniel Hemric, Derek Kraus, Brett Moffitt and Chandler Smith completed the top 10.
