Deborah James vows to ‘live as she dies’ as she posts comparison pics 5 years apart

Deborah James has vowed to move on as she dies, before sharing comparison photos of her time at her “favourite place” five years apart.

“Bo welbabe” Deborah, 40, sadly dies of colon cancer after announcing in May that her body was “not working” and that she was being placed in end-of-life care.

She’s been living to the fullest ever since – raising money for Cancer Research UK, launching her own clothing line with In The Style and even throwing an engagement party for her brother.

Now the star has shared photos of herself and husband Sebastian visiting the Opera House in Glyndebourne, where the couple gathered for a gorgeous evening of La Bohème on Saturday 11th May.

Sharing a video of the area, Deborah first explained: “For those of you who have been following me for a while, you know the UK season is my favorite time of the year! So I tried to see a few of my favorites one last time! #opera”.

She then posted side-by-side then and now photos of herself attending the opera at the same location five years ago, with a today’s snap.

“I was here for the last time exactly 5 years ago. At this point I was 7 months from my diagnosis and once again trying to make the best of ignorance of what was coming my way,” she wrote of the pictures.

A second post from then and now showed her posing with her husband, who she said “still looks dapper in his black tie!”

Sharing several more photos on her Instagram feed to her 947,000 followers, she shared her shock at how quickly time has passed since she last visited the venue.

“Can’t believe the last time I was here was this week 5 years ago – scared, newly diagnosed, just trying to do the same thing I’m doing now – taking things one day at a time!!” she explained.

Although Deborah appeared to be smiling in the pictures, she said she was “exhausted” as it takes her longer to prepare for an event than the time she actually spends there.

She said: “I’ve found that it takes me longer to get ready and organized than the time I actually last anywhere!!

“Getting dressed is tiring, organizing medication is tiring, the extra exercise, the travelling, wondering what mood your stomach is in – it’s all real!

“But then the feeling of making it to something you didn’t think was possible, putting on your make-up, putting on new shoes (which finally arrived in the right size for massively swollen feet!), the sun is smiling – well then that’s it it’s all worth it!”

“It’s sort of cheeky ‘dying to live’ with two fingers everything!!” She added.
