One Punch Man started as a superhero manga series but was so successful that it has been adapted into other media, including anime and a live-action film in the works at Sony. The manga has also been adapted for video games and it has just been announced that a new manga is in the works.
One Punch Man: World will adapt the first season of the One Punch Man anime for iOS, Android and PC.
The game, titled One Punch Man: World, is in development by Perfect World Games and is published by Crunchyroll Games. As far as we know, the video game will be adapting the first season of the anime.
what’s more It seems that consoles – PlayStation, Xbox and Switch – will miss out on the game as the announcement only promises a release on PC and mobile platforms.
Along with the game’s announcement, Crunchyroll Games released a gameplay trailer that gave us a first look at the game. As far as we can see, One Punch Man: World will be action-packed. The trailer shows the game’s heroes taking on villains of various shapes and sizes.
We have to admit that the fights looked cool and exciting, especially considering the powers on display that were brought to life by special effects.
Of course, Saitama will be featured in One Punch Man: World. However, the game will also feature many of our other favorite heroes including Genos, Mumen Rider, Atomic Samurai and Lightning Max.
What we find interesting about the game is that it’s not just about fighting and destroying enemies. Players have the option to take a break and just explore the city. Among other things, you can take advantage of discounts and special offers, play games in the Gaming Center and take a walk around the city.
Next to the trailer there is a short description of the game. It states: “A sinister wave of monster attacks has pressured the cities of Earth and the Heroes’ Association. But after three years of special training, Saitama has become so powerful that he can defeat opponents with a single blow.”

There is currently no confirmed release date for One Punch Man: World. Still, we can confirm that the game will be released sometime this year. As mentioned, it will only be available for iOS, Android and PC.
