Coronation Street’s Julia Goulding reveals her pregnancy as she debuts on the red carpet

Coronation Street star Julia Goulding has revealed a growing baby bump as she walked the red carpet at the 2022 British Soap Awards.

The actress, best known for playing Shona Ramsay on the popular ITV soap opera, appeared to be beaming as she attended the star-studded party on June 11.

Tonight’s appearance marks the first time the star has addressed the news of her second pregnancy publicly, as she smiled for the cameras on the red carpet.

On the occasion of today’s high-profile event, Julia opted for a black and transparent dress with a zebra pattern, which perfectly emphasized her growing belly.

The bodycon dress featured long sleeves and an off-the-shoulder design that showed off the actresses’ collarbones.

She wore her hair up in an elegant undo, two strands of shiny brown hair framing the star’s face as she smiled for the cameras.

Julia then completed her look with a swipe of red lipstick and matching nails in a similar bright red shade.

Joining a host of her castmates from the show, Julia is at the awards hoping Coronation Street can continue their winning streak and take home the coveted Best Soap award.

Julia has been a fixture on the show since she burst onto our screens in 2016, where she quickly became a fan favorite before winning the coveted Best Newcomer award at the Inside Soap Awards in 2017.

A permanent member of the Corrie cast, Julia has seen her character Shona involved in a number of high-profile storylines, including her introduction to the soap opera, which revealed her to be the mother of Kylie’s killer, Clayton.

Nonetheless, Shona and David Platt, played by Jack P. Shepherd, managed to prove that there are lovers with star crosses, and the couple quickly became one of the most popular couples on the cobblestones.
