Only eight teams remain in contention to win the College World Series, and few of them have won the national title. Of the remaining teams, only three have ever been at the top of the college baseball world.
Reaching this stage in baseball season is one of the most difficult accomplishments in college sports, and few schools have ever been crowned national champions. Now Arkansas, Auburn, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Stanford, Texas and Texas A&M will battle it out for the title.
