The reality star had previously spoken openly about her strong relationship with her father, with his tragic death last year being a blow to young Geordie. The grieving star was forced to take some time away from the limelight as she came to terms with such a significant loss.
When Chloe announced his death at the time, she wrote: “I’ve struggled to write this and I still can’t accept what I’m about to say!”
She continued, “I’m a very open person and I’m usually happy to share all the details of my life, but this is a time when I really need some privacy.
“I sadly lost my dad after his battle with cancer and it still doesn’t feel real!”
Chloe added: “I will be taking a break from social media and work commitments.
“As a family, we’re all dealing with this and trying to come to terms with it…
“I would really appreciate it if I had some time to deal with it my way!”
Chloe’s parents separated when she was six and the reality star was raised by her mother, Liz.
However, she stayed in touch with her father and has frequently shared Father’s Day messages and fond memories on her social media feed over the years.
This included a particularly poignant video clip in December, when she shared footage of her family unwrapping their Christmas presents, alongside the details of her father’s last wish.
Chloe wrote: “RIP to my beautiful dad. You made a wish for all of us at Christmas to be happy and together and here we all are, we miss you every day and we wish you were here.”
