Made in Chelsea star Binky revealed the family had been eating lunch when their son Wolfie started blushing and had white patches on his face
Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead’s baby son has been rushed to hospital after suffering a terrible allergic reaction.
It comes after a difficult week for the reality star after her dog was involved in a hit and run.
Taking to Instagram, Binky revealed the family had been eating lunch when her son Wolfie started blushing and had white patches on his face.
She and her partner then rushed to the nearest pharmacist and called 999, and an ambulance arrived within four minutes.
Their son was taken to a hospital in Gloucestershire 40 minutes away and they were told their son had gone into anaphylactic shock.
Binky said the situation was “very scary” but thanked staff for their help.
Sharing a selection of pictures of her son in hospital – with a swollen and red face – she wrote: “Damn – looking forward to a new week!!
“What about Pedro getting hit by a van… now Wolfie is being hauled away in an ambulance after he had a bad reaction to what we thought was the sesame seeds in the hummus he had at lunch. Very quickly he felt incredibly uncomfortable and was constantly rubbing his face and getting upset.
“He turned bright red all over his face and hands, and small white spots appeared just in front of his eye, and his lips and tongue began to swell. We exited the restaurant immediately and drove to the nearest pharmacist who said to call 999… which we did and this amazing paramedic arrived within 4 minutes!
“All very scary, they said he was in anaphylactic shock and gave Wolfie a little shot of adrenaline. They were worried he wouldn’t be able to breathe so they turned on the siren, drove pretty fast and we had our first experience of an ambulance!
“Luckily Wolf’s face calmed down and he loved the sounds and all the exciting things dangling around in the ambulance. He also got a bear to keep because he was so brave.
“We arrived at a Gloucestershire hospital 40 minutes away which was also amazing. They kept us all calm, explained a lot and we just got discharged after watching him closely for 5 hours.

“We left with two Epi pens and a whole lot of information. First thing on my to do list next week is taking Wolfie to a skin/allergy specialist! WOAH – so many emotions again.
“The NHS and the whole team have been just amazing. The family and I are incredibly grateful for everything you did today.
“#NHS THANK YOU.”
Her friends flocked to the comments, with Louise Thompson writing: “Oh damn damn! What a week from hell sending love love love.”
Kimberley Walsh commented: “Oh god bless you! So glad you’re here, he’s on the mend! So damn scary! I send love.”
